Job summary

Cardinal Group is seeking an Area Community Manager in the Charlotte, NC area. The role involves protecting, maintaining, and enhancing community value while maximizing resident living experiences across up to four communities.

Biweekly compensation is provided with benefits and bonus eligibility. You will lead onsite maintenance and leasing teams, oversee budgeting, and drive performance to meet financial goals across communities.

Qualifications

• One year of Community Manager experience with Cardinal Group and two years of Community Manager experience in residential property management.
• Strong knowledge of leasing, marketing, construction, residential law and resident relations.
• Reliable transportation to travel between communities up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all responsibilities of Community Manager for the assigned communities, via direct oversight of the primary community and advisory role for sister communities.
• Mentor and assist with day-to-day activities of loss prevention, risk management, safety/security, maintenance, marketing, leasing and upkeep across area communities.
• Demonstrate a professional, client‑oriented attitude with the team, residents, clients, and the public.
• Strive to improve communities’ performance to meet annual financial and operational goals across all assigned communities.
• Lead onsite maintenance, office, and leasing teams at the main community and assist with sister communities.
• Coordinate resident relations, repairs, rent charges, leases, and escalation when needed.
• Oversee revenues in alignment with lease obligations and assist teams at sister communities.
• Participate in Cardinal U trainings and related development activities.
• Monitor Cardinal U participation and provide coverage for teams when needed.
• Travel to sister communities at least twice per month.
• Provide data integrity insights before submission to HQ.
• Champion Cardinal Culture across all communities.
