Job summary

Greystar is seeking a seasoned Community Manager in Ventura, CA to lead day-to-day property operations for a 300-unit community. You will manage staff, budgeting, leasing, and resident relations while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and related laws.

The role requires 3-5 years of community management experience, strong leadership, budgeting and financial reporting skills, vendor oversight, and a commitment to exceptional resident service and property standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4-6 years minimum of property management and leasing experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in budget development by analyzing financial statements and reports.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, and review monthly financials.
• Approve vendor invoices and ensure insurance documentation is valid.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty cash.
• Oversee lease enforcement, applications, renewals, and notices.
• Lead property staff, hire, train, and evaluate team performance.
• Ensure property safety, maintenance, cleanliness, and appearance.
