Job summary

Thrive Community Management is seeking a seasoned Community Manager to lead the management, experience, and maintenance teams at assigned apartment communities in Columbus. You will drive budgets, oversee leasing and renewals, and ensure an engaging resident experience aligned with company standards.

The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and a focus on delivering superior customer service to residents and vendors. Flexibility to meet deadlines and manage operations is essential.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Community Management, Real Estate, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• At least 2–4 years of related community management experience with multi-family/residential communities.
• 1–2 years of experience leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and holds accountable, directs and develops assigned communities’ Management, Experience, and Maintenance teams.
• Coordinate Community Management functions and maintain communications with clients, vendors and internal teams.
• Provide prompt and superior customer service to all residents, prospective residents, visitors and vendors.
• Oversee operating budgets, financial performance, and rent collection.
• Assist in due diligence for prospective acquisitions or dispositions.

Education

High school degree or equivalent required

Bachelor’s degree in Community Management, Real Estate, Business Administration or related field preferred

2–4 years of related community management experience

1–2 years of team leadership experience
