Job summary

Legum and Norman, an Associa company, seeks a General Manager to oversee a large 55+ active adult community in Annapolis, MD. This onsite role coordinates all office, administrative, and maintenance projects and serves as the liaison among homeowners, the Board, committees, staff, and vendors.

The role includes enforcing policy, budgeting, capital projects, maintenance scheduling, and resident communications. CMCA is required; AMS is preferred and company-paid to obtain.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of community association management experience.
• Experience in managing large-scale HOAs and/or 55+ active adult communities.
• Active CMCA is required. AMS is preferred. Willingness to obtain AMS, company paid.
• Customer service driven and team oriented with proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Implement Board policy and directives within the management agreement. Work with the board on strategic initiatives and association projects.
• Walk and inspect the community; ensure maintenance and compliance with codes and rules.
• Issue violation notices and follow up for corrections.
• Meet homeowners, residents, board members, vendors and contractors.
• Respond to inquiries in person, by phone, and by email.
• Enter and update data in the database; record and track documents.
