Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an experienced Communications professional in Columbus, OH to lead external storytelling and integrated campaigns. You will partner with Marketing and regional teams to craft compelling narratives, manage media relationships, and drive measurement-driven results.

The role requires strong writing, teamwork, and the ability to translate complex business priorities into clear communications across multiple channels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or journalism, with experience in corporate and/or agency environments.
• Experience supporting integrated communications campaigns across earned, owned, and paid media.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics into clear, compelling narratives.
• Demonstrated experience supporting media relations efforts, including outreach, relationship management, and securing coverage.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across a diverse portfolio of work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, business, and external partners to deliver coordinated communications programs.
• Comfort with media monitoring and measurement, with the ability to translate coverage and data into actionable insights.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to execute with accuracy and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Support external communications across a broad portfolio of strategic initiatives, ensuring clear and consistent storytelling aligned to business objectives.
• Execute integrated communications campaigns in partnership with Marketing and regional teams, including national moments and market activations.
• Draft and refine press materials, messaging, and campaign content that translate business priorities into external narratives.
• Manage media engagement across national and regional outlets, building relationships and identifying opportunities to elevate key stories.
• Collaborate with agency partners to deliver content across earned, paid, and social channels, ensuring alignment and quality execution.
• Identify proactive storytelling opportunities that support business priorities and enhance the firm’s reputation.
• Track, analyze, and report on media coverage and campaign performance to inform future strategy.
• Partner across internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution across a matrixed organization.
