The Southern Company Gas EDGE Organization is seeking a Communications/Marketing Specialist to design and drive integrated communication and marketing strategies that boost employee engagement, strengthen brand awareness, and support enterprise initiatives.

The role partners with leaders and project teams to craft compelling narratives across digital and traditional channels, aligning with governance and data-driven goals.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of corporate communications, marketing, PR, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience planning campaigns with audience segmentation and messaging strategies.
• Ability to translate complex business topics into clear, engaging communications.
• Proven track record in executive communications and storytelling.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute communication plans that support business objectives and organizational priorities.
• Serve as a communications advisor to business leaders and project teams.
• Develop key messages aligned with brand standards and corporate objectives.
• Ensure consistent messaging across internal and external channels.
• Support executive communications, leadership presentations, and organizational announcements.
• Create and implement marketing campaigns to raise awareness and adoption of programs, products, and services.
• Coordinate multi-channel campaigns (email, web, social, events) and measure performance.
• Develop dashboards and reports to track communication effectiveness.
