EDGE is seeking a Senior Consultant for Communications and Outreach in Houston, TX. The role focuses on strategic communications, community engagement, and initiatives that support client success, including on-site support for open houses and listening sessions.

The candidate will develop outreach plans, write messaging for multiple audiences, and coordinate with creative teams for digital and print content, while organizing events and stakeholder engagement across diverse sectors.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in communications, community engagement and strategy
• Demonstrated proficiency in AP-style writing
• Proven ability managing projects and project teams
• Service-excellence mindset supporting diverse sectors (oil and gas, power, tech, manufacturing)
• Experience in crisis communications and media preferred
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort interfacing with a wide range of audiences
• Ability to travel, including some evenings and weekends
• Primarily office-based position

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement communications and outreach plans aligned with client goals and corporate plans
• Write messaging and FAQs for multi-stakeholder audiences
• Partner with creative/digital teams to develop digital and print content
• Design and facilitate listening sessions and interviews
• Create discussion guides and actionable recommendations from findings
• Plan and manage open houses and other community events
• Facilitate public meetings, workshops and engagement sessions
• Prepare run-of-show, agendas and post-event summaries
• Identify partnership opportunities on behalf of clients
• Support proposal development, including scope and budget
