Job summary

Kendall Electric, a division of The Kendall Group, is seeking a Commodity Group Manager to lead procurement for electrical commodities in our Dayton-area operations. Qualifications

• 7 years experience in electrical distribution with commodity management.
• Associates degree or related business/industry experience.
• Strong analytical skills and inventory forecasting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement strategies for electrical commodities and negotiate supplier contracts.
• Oversee supplier relationships, pricing, and availability to protect margins.
• Mentor and manage Regional Commodity Managers across multiple locations.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and operations to align category plans with business goals.
• Monitor supplier compliance, assess risks, and drive continuous improvement.
