Job summary

The Kendall Group is seeking a Commodity Group Manager for Kendall Electric. Reporting to the EVP, this role will lead strategic procurement, supplier engagement, pricing and inventory strategies, and cross‑functional collaboration to profitably grow our commodity business.

Qualifications

• 7 years' experience in electrical distribution with commodity management.
• 2 years' experience in people management.
• Associates degree in related field or related business and industry experience.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of commodities markets; proficient with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic procurement and manage supplier relationships to ensure optimal pricing and availability.
• Develop and execute multi-regional procurement strategies and oversee a team of Regional Commodity Managers.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and leadership to align category strategies with company goals.
• Negotiate contracts, monitor supplier performance, and mitigate supply risks.
