Job summary

The Kendall Group is seeking a Commodity Group Manager for Kendall Electric to lead strategic procurement, supplier engagement, and pricing strategies across multiple regions. You will partner with sales and operations to optimize inventory, drive profitability, and mentor a team of Regional Commodity Managers.

You will analyze market trends, negotiate favorable terms, and manage risk to ensure continuous supply and value for customers.

Qualifications

• 7 years’ experience in electrical distribution with commodity management, pricing, and hedge arrangements
• 2 years’ people management experience
• Ability to develop multi-regional procurement strategies and manage supplier relationships

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement strategy for electrical commodities across multiple regions
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance for price, quality, and availability
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to align category strategies with business goals
• Develop procurement processes, forecast demand, and monitor supplier risk
• Provide leadership and mentorship to regional commodity managers
• Analyze vendor performance and drive cost reduction initiatives
