Job summary

Veregy is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager in Southern California for a full-time hybrid role (Costa Mesa area). The position manages commissioning and energy projects, overseeing scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining client relationships from kickoff to closeout.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering background, 1–3 years of PM experience in building commissioning, and knowledge of HVAC, energy efficiency, and controls. Travel up to 35% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; mechanical engineering preferred.
• Master’s degree in engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commissioning, energy efficiency, and retro-commissioning projects.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, and quality; set deadlines and assign responsibilities.
• Lead client meetings and provide progress reports to management.
• Develop Cx and M&V plans and other Cx documentation; perform tests and deliverables QC.
• Coordinate with internal staff and sub-consultants; manage invoicing and contracts.
