Job summary

Veregy in Southern California is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to oversee multiple commissioning, energy efficiency, and retro-commissioning projects from kickoff to closeout. The position is full-time, hybrid (Costa Mesa office and home office) with travel as needed.

You will manage scope, schedule, and budget, coordinate client meetings, develop reports and test plans, and ensure contractual quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of HVAC systems, energy efficiency concepts, and mechanical engineering principles.
• One to three years of practical project management experience in building commissioning, retro-commissioning, HVAC, energy, controls, and/or construction.
• Must travel at least 35% of the time, mostly within the state.

Responsibilities

• Manages commissioning, retrocommissioning, energy consulting, and engineering projects.
• Oversees scope, schedule, budget, and quality for projects.
• Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors progress.
• Leads project meetings with the client.
• Develops project deliverables, including reports and tests, and writes Cx documentation.
• Ensures final deliverables meet quality and contractual requirements.
• Prepares invoices and manages contracts and documentation.
• Supports business development and proposals.
