Job summary

Clēnera is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead testing and verification of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. You will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure systems meet design specs and safety standards before handover.

The role requires extensive fieldwork, strong knowledge of PV and storage technologies, SCADA, and high-voltage systems, with a focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, electrical or mechanical engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years in commissioning utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• OSHA 30, NETA III certifications.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Procore, and learning company-specific tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop commissioning plans, exhibits, schedules, and procedures for PV, storage, HV, SCADA, and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction and operations to transition from build to operations.
• Manage on-site commissioning managers and vendors for testing and verification of electrical, mechanical and communication systems.
• Create and maintain commissioning records, test reports, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance during commissioning.
