Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager who will oversee the commissioning process for solar and energy storage projects. The role involves close collaboration with project teams to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and safety standards.

This position is remote with travel expected within the South Central region. Candidates should have extensive experience in project commissioning, particularly in utility-scale solar projects, along with strong leadership and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading complex project commissioning activities.
• 3 or more years of experience in a direct management role.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall commissioning phase of projects.
• Coordinate all project commissioning activities with Owner representatives.
• Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning tests.

Skills

Utility scale solar power plants testing

Underground and overhead distribution design

Working knowledge of SCADA

Ability to interpret design drawings

Knowledgeable in NFPA/NEC standards

Education

Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)

Minimum 5 years of experience

Tools

Microsoft Office applications
