Multi-Award-Winning National General Contractor | 100% Employee-Owned ESOP is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning across major hyperscale data center projects in the US. You will drive planning, testing, and turnover, coordinating with MEP teams, clients and trade partners to ensure readiness and quality.

This senior role demands extensive commissioning experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage complex, fast-paced environments with national travel.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of commissioning / mission critical construction experience
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, controls and integrated systems
  • Experience leading commissioning activities on large-scale mission critical projects
  • Strong understanding of commissioning processes, testing and turnover
  • Experience working with major GC, owner, commissioning authority or MEP contractor environments
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume project environment
  • Willingness to travel nationally

Responsibilities

  • Lead commissioning activities from pre-functional testing through integrated systems testing and final turnover
  • Develop and manage commissioning plans, schedules and procedures
  • Coordinate commissioning activities across electrical, mechanical and controls systems
  • Work closely with MEP project teams and trade contractors to identify and resolve commissioning issues
  • Manage commissioning documentation, testing records and closeout requirements
  • Coordinate with third-party commissioning authorities and client representatives
  • Support project teams in identifying potential commissioning risks early in the construction process
  • Participate in FAT, SAT, equipment start-up and functional performance testing
  • Drive quality, reliability and operational readiness across the project
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to commissioning teams
  • Maintain strong communication with senior project leadership and client stakeholders
  • Support multiple phases of large-scale hyperscale data center developments

Compensation: Up to $200,000 Base + $60,000+ Travel Stipend + Bonus + ESOP

A multi-award-winning, national General Contractor with a proven track record delivering hyperscale data center projects is looking to appoint a Senior Commissioning Manager to support the delivery of some of the largest and most technically complex mission critical builds in the US.

This is a high-level commissioning position working directly within a major hyperscale data center portfolio, with significant responsibility across the commissioning process from planning through final turnover.

The role is ideal for an experienced commissioning professional who wants to work at the forefront of the US data center market, with the backing of a national GC and the opportunity to work on large-scale, technically complex projects.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for leading commissioning activities across major mission critical projects, working closely with project leadership, MEP teams, commissioning agents, trade partners, clients and other key stakeholders.
