Job summary

Confidential owner’s representative is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning across electrical, mechanical and controls systems for major data center projects in the U.S. The role involves representing the owner on-site, coordinating with GC's, designers, commissioning agents, and vendors, and driving milestones to turnover.

You will oversee schedules, testing, issue resolution, and safety standards while traveling extensively across the country for extended project

Qualifications

• Experience leading commissioning in data center environments.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, LOTO and OSHA standards.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical, mechanical and controls commissioning from installation through functional testing and turnover.

This is an owner-side leadership position with responsibility for the full commissioning process across complex electrical, mechanical and controls systems.

The Senior Commissioning Manager will represent the owner on-site and work closely with general contractors, designers, commissioning agents, trade partners and vendors. You will lead commissioning activities, track system readiness, resolve technical issues and ensure testing and turnover milestones remain on schedule.

• Lead electrical, mechanical and controls commissioning from installation and system readiness through functional testing, integrated systems testing and final turnover.
• Represent the owner when coordinating with contractors, designers, commissioning agents, vendors and other project stakeholders.
• Manage commissioning schedules, MOPs, work notifications, documentation, issue tracking and closeout requirements.
• Maintain commissioning, quality and safety standards while identifying risks and resolving issues that could affect project delivery.

Job Requirements

• Strong commissioning experience across electrical, mechanical and controls systems within data center or mission-critical environments.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate contractors, designers, vendors and commissioning agents.
• Strong knowledge of MOPs, functional testing, integrated systems testing, NFPA 70E, LOTO and OSHA standards.
• Willingness to travel 75% to 100% across the U.S. and relocate for extended project assignments when required.
