Job summary

Genelco by POWERX Edge seeks a Commissioning Engineer II to lead electrical/mechanical commissioning for data-center projects across the United States. You will manage testing, validation, and field coordination to meet project specs and client requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of commissioning experience, with NEC/ASHRAE knowledge. Travel is required; OSHA 30 preferred; strong communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, tech, engineering, math or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on commissioning experience, including data centers.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred and NEC/ASHRAE knowledge.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems.
• Manage commissioning projects from planning to completion with timelines and budgets.
• Conduct site observations and prepare field reports on project status and compliance.
• Review test results and ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, vendors and project teams.
