Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Engineering with 8+ years in commissioning, possess a commissioning certification, and excel in leadership, communication, and budget oversight. Travel 25–40% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of commissioning or related building construction experience (mechanical, plumbing, controls, TBAC).
• Solid knowledge of HVAC, electrical, controls, and building enclosure.
• Commissioning Certification (NEBB, ACG, BCxA, ASHRAE) preferred.
• Experience leading teams and communicating with owners, contractors, and designers.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop commissioning professionals with a focus on client outcomes.
• Establish performance standards, coaching, and evaluations.
• Define and document client requirements with internal and external partners.
• Manage project information and support accurate execution by teams.
• Implement status tracking and reporting to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure documentation of all client communications.
• Identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
• Develop commissioning fee proposals and labor-hour estimates.
• Oversee KPIs and project health metrics.
• Provide input on commissioning standards and best practices.
• Support business development and client interviews.
• Lead and advance commissioning across projects.
• Participate in owner training activities with the Commissioning Provider.
• Uphold ENFRA’s values and client advocacy.
