Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Commercial Transaction Manager in Albany, NY. As the most senior transaction-focused contributor within KEF Transaction Cycle Management, you will independently lead highly structured financing transactions from opportunity review through funding.

You will work with Sales, Credit, Capital Markets, and external counsel to structure and negotiate complex arrangements, including multi-party and syndicated deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Legal Studies, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 10 years of equipment finance, commercial finance, banking, structured finance, legal documentation, or related industry experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead highly structured, complex transactions from opportunity review through closing and funding.
• Negotiate and finalize financing documentation with customers, external counsel, investors, and third-party institutions.
• Partner with Sales, Capital Markets, Credit, Pricing, Tax, Legal, Asset Management, and other stakeholders to structure and implement transactions.
• Act as the primary escalation point for documentation, structure, and negotiation questions within TCM.
• Mentor Contract Managers and Account Managers on transaction strategy and best practices.
