Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Permanent Commercial Superintendent to join our fast-paced South Florida team. This role requires leadership, strong project management, and a deep knowledge of commercial construction processes from conception to completion.

You will oversee banking, healthcare, corporate spaces, and some industrial projects, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety, review plans, and maintain thorough project documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar commercial construction superintendent role.
• Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and building codes.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder liaison.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Track record of successfully completing commercial projects.
• Certification in construction management or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle and ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
• Coordinate construction teams and subcontractors according to plan.
• Implement and enforce site safety measures and compliance with regulations.
• Review plans, blueprints, and specifications for project accuracy.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and architects.
• Resolve site issues promptly to prevent delays.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation: logs, reports, and correspondence.
• Manage resources and communicate progress and changes to stakeholders.
