Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Commercial Security Senior Service Technician in Georgia to service, troubleshoot, and repair access control and IP-based video systems at commercial client sites. The role requires proficiency with various security platforms, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

You will travel to client sites, diagnose issues, document findings, and provide remote or on-site support using your knowledge of low-voltage systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience
• Experience with access control and IP-based video systems
• Possession of state licensing or ability to obtain license
• Understanding of Windows OS and IT network topology
• Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication with internal & external customers
• Willingness for on-call emergency service
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders up to 16 ft
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical/electronic aptitude

Responsibilities

• Travel to commercial client sites to service, repair, troubleshoot, and detect access control equipment and IP-based video security systems
• Troubleshoot installations and apply effective resolutions while ensuring operability and code compliance
• Document service-related issues accurately
• Read electrical schematics and CAD drawings for low-voltage projects
• Maintain effective relationships with customers
• Provide phone and on-site diagnostic support
• Drive to client sites using company vehicle for service
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
