Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Senior Service Technician to service, maintain, and troubleshoot access control equipment and IP-based video systems at commercial sites. The role requires proactive individuals who align with AUTS core values and can work independently or in teams.

You will travel to client sites, diagnose issues, perform repairs, and document service activity. Strong knowledge of electrical schematics and IT basics is essential, with on-call availability for emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of field experience in security systems.
• Licensing (state-specific) or ability to obtain one after hire; knowledge of Windows IT basics.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on access control equipment and IP video systems.
• Travel to commercial client sites to service and troubleshoot systems.
• Identify issues and apply effective resolutions per installation standards.
• Document service-related issues for tracking and reporting.
• Read electrical schematics and CAD drawings for low-voltage work.
• Provide remote diagnostic support and assist customers on-site.
