Job summary

Allied Universal Technology Services seeks a Commercial Security Senior Service Technician to service and troubleshoot access control and IP-based video systems at commercial sites across US-GA-Augusta, US-GA-Athens, and US-SC-Aiken.

This role involves travel to client sites, diagnosing issues, and performing repairs. Candidates should have 5+ years of field experience, strong IT knowledge, and be able to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Vocational School required.
• 5+ years of field experience in security tech.
• State licensing (Class D or Alarm Installer) or ability to obtain licensed.
• Understanding of Windows OS and IT network topology.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, repair, and diagnose access control equipment and IP-based video systems.
• Travel to commercial client sites to service and troubleshoot systems.
• Troubleshoot installations and apply effective resolutions.
• Document all service issues and outcomes.
• Read electrical schematics and CAD drawings for low-voltage work.
• Provide remote diagnostic support and customer communication.
• Drive to client sites in company vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
