Job summary

J Reynolds, a Tecta America Company, located in Saginaw, TX, seeks a Commercial Roofing Project Manager & Estimator to lead estimating, scheduling and execution from cradle to grave. You will ensure work aligns with plans, specs, and company policies, reporting to the Operating Unit President.

The role requires at least 3 years in roofing/construction, strong planning, and proficiency in MS Office; lifting up to 50 lbs and frequent site visits are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college preferred (Construction Management).
• Minimum three (3) years of roofing or construction industry experience.
• Critical skills include planning & organizing; problem resolution; urgency in tasks.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Microsoft Office proficiency; familiarity with project management software.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and visit job sites ~50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Understand the contract to ensure the company’s responsibilities and scope.
• Catch deviations from specifications relating to scope, contract and schedule.
• Generate estimates from drawings, specifications, field notes and inspections.
• Obtain information such as inspections, measurements, photos, sketches for pricing.
• Submit proposals to customers and communicate with owners, architects, engineers.
• Attend weekly meetings for start-up, pre-bid, sales, and progress.
• Prepare project budgets, submittals, equipment needs, PO's, material lists, manning.
• Manage safety issues and pre-job safety analysis.
• Monitor costs against estimates, budgets, and change orders.
• Handle project closeouts and warranty documents.
• Execute contracts with subcontractors.
• Prepare month-end WIP and cost-to-complete reports.
