Job summary

J Reynolds, a Tecta America Company, is seeking a Commercial Waterproofing Estimator for our Saginaw, TX shop. You will estimate, bid, schedule, and support successful performance of waterproofing projects from opportunity through contract award.

You will work with owners, architects, general contractors, and project teams to develop accurate estimates, prepare competitive proposals, and ensure projects meet contract requirements and industry best practices.

Qualifications

5+ years of estimating experience in commercial waterproofing, restoration, building envelope, roofing, or related construction trades.
Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, contracts, and construction documents.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction estimating software.

Responsibilities

Generate accurate estimates from drawings, specifications, field measurements, site inspections, photographs, sketches, and other project documentation.
Prepare and submit professional proposals and bid packages to customers.
Coordinate with Project Managers and Operations teams to ensure a seamless transition from estimating to project execution.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators and collaborate with leadership to prioritize bidding opportunities.
