J Reynolds, a Tecta America Company, seeks a Commercial Roofing Project Manager & Estimator for our Saginaw, TX shop. The role covers estimating, scheduling, operating, and managing projects from cradle to grave, with a focus on timely and cost-effective execution in line with plans and policies.

Responsibilities include contract understanding, deviation control, proposal submissions, and coordination with owners and engineers.

Qualifications

3+ years in roofing or construction industry experience.
Strong planning and organizational skills with urgency.
Attention to detail across budgets, schedules and safety.

Responsibilities

Understand the contract to ensure the company’s responsibilities and scope.
Catch deviations from specifications and plans related to scope, contract and schedule.
Generate estimates from drawings, specs, field notes, and inspections.
Obtain information like inspections, measurements, photos for pricing.
Submit proposals to customers.
Communicate with owners, architects, engineers, GCs and property managers.
Attend/conduct weekly meetings with project startup, pre-bid, sales, and progress.
Generate project budgets, submittals, equipment needs, PO, material lists, and staffing.
Handle all safety issues and conduct pre-job safety analyses.
Monitor costs against estimates, budgets and change orders.
Manage project closeouts and warranty documents.
Execute contracts with subcontractors.
Prepare month-end WIP and cost-to-complete reports.
