Job summary

J Reynolds, a Tecta America Company, is seeking a Commercial Roofing Project Manager & Estimator for our Saginaw, TX shop. You will estimate, schedule, operate, and manage roofing projects from cradle to grave, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution in line with plans, specs, and company policies.

The role reports to the Operating Unit President and requires strong communication with owners, architects, engineers and general contractors, plus leadership in safety and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of roofing or construction industry experience.
• Strong planning, organization and urgency in task execution.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform site visits ~50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Understand the contract to define responsibilities and scope.
• Generate estimates from drawings, field notes, field drawings, and inspections.
• Submit proposals to customers and communicate with owners, architects, engineers, and general contractors.
• Monitor costs, budgets and change orders; manage closeouts and warranties.
• Execute contracts with subcontractors and lead weekly meetings.
