Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Business/Finance or related field.
• Minimum 6 years Commercial Banking experience with 5+ years in sales.
• Formalized commercial credit training or equivalent credit experience.
• Underwriting experience preferred.
• Proven ability to partner with investment bankers for capital market advice.
• Proven ability to grow client revenue and deliver a positive client experience.
• Strong business acumen including financial statement analysis and accounting principles.
• Thorough knowledge of Commercial, Treasury Management, and alternative lending options.
• Ability to assess client needs and construct financial solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to negotiate.
• Team oriented with internal collaboration across functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM tools experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel regionally/local.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop profitable new client relationships through centers of influence, existing clients, and referrals.
• Develop and implement a business plan to hit financial and qualitative goals.
• Collaborate with internal partners to deepen relationships and win new prospects.
• Attend industry events to expand networks and knowledge of trends and competition.
• Work with Treasury, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management to tailor relationship strategies.
• Meet clients regularly to strengthen trusted advisor status and fulfill business needs.
• Use consultative selling and CRM for pipeline management and reporting.
• Analyze client financials to determine credit requests to pursue.
• Monitor client performance and industry trends to manage credit risk.
• Partner with Portfolio Managers on credit requests within guidelines.
