Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/finance or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial banking/credit experience or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years managing a commercial loan portfolio with sales and business development.
• Experience with commercial banking risk analysis.
• Understanding banking and credit approval process and policies.
• Knowledge of sales principles and products/services of financial institutions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, time management, organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Understand credit, commercial products, and financial statement analysis to offer banking solutions.
• Manage an existing portfolio and seek opportunities to generate incremental revenue.
• Engage with customers regularly to strengthen trusted advisor relationships and cross-sell other product lines.
• Perform loan underwriting, risk analysis, and loan documentation through portfolio management activities.
• Develop business through calls, visits, and client qualification to meet new business goals.
• Maintain professional community relations to increase visibility and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with policies and risk appetite; monitor non-performing loan ratios.
• Support credit approval processes by presenting recommendations to Senior Loan Committee.
