Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, finance or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of commercial lending experience.
• Proven ability to originate loans and cross-sell services.
• Strong analytical and credit evaluation skills.

Responsibilities

• Interviews loan applicants and analyzes data to assess creditworthiness.
• Negotiates loan terms, costs, repayment schedules and collateral.
• Collects and analyzes financial data to support loan decisions.
• Parses loan requests for executive loan committee when threshold exceeded.
• Monitors repayment activities and takes collection actions.
• Advises customers on business management and financial matters.
• Develops new business by contacting prospects and cross-selling services.
• Prepares lending activity reports for management.
• Maintains awareness of economic conditions affecting lending.
• Engages in community affairs to increase bank visibility.
