Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related area.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with client focus.
• Experience in commercial banking and understanding of credit products and processes.
• Ability to cross-sell products and negotiate within lending policies.
• Proven portfolio management and risk assessment capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Relationship management of a commercial portfolio with growth planning.
• Provide financial solutions and build trusted client relationships.
• Cross-sell bank services with other areas of the bank.
• Prepare and submit loan requests; gather pre-closing requirements and attend settlements.
• Develop new prospects and acquire new Univest clients.
• Negotiate loan terms within policy and pricing guidelines.
• Increase bank visibility by engaging with business groups and communities.
• Possibly supervise non-sales staff and coach team members.
