Job summary

CoolSys is seeking a skilled service technician to join our refrigeration and HVAC team. You will repair and overhaul equipment across various facilities, including display cases and walk-in boxes, ensuring timely, quality service for customers.

Candidates should have 3+ years of commercial refrigeration experience, EPA certification, and a clean driving record. This role requires physical capability to lift up to 60 lbs and to work on-call as needed, with opportunities for ongoing training and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA certification required.
• Minimum 3+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience with refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a plus.
• Must have a valid driving record and ability to work independently.
• Emergency on-call availability required.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and sit/stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in repair and overhaul of refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment.
• Repair and service units including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and controls.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate work history records and complete tickets.
• Operate company vehicle safely and deliver/install as needed.
• Support by picking up, delivering, and installing cases.
• Participate in starts of new installations and related construction work.
