CoolSys is seeking an experienced service technician to repair and overhaul refrigeration and HVAC equipment in commercial settings. You will handle compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and related control devices while delivering safe, timely, and quality service.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in commercial refrigeration, EPA certification, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. An independent work style and reliable driving record are essential for success in our field operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA certification required.
• Minimum 3+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience with refrigeration equipment in supermarkets or convenience stores is a plus.
• Familiarity with rack systems and display cases is helpful.
• Must have a good driving record and be able to work independently.
• Emergency on-call availability is required.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices safely and efficiently.
• Perform general repair on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment and components.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Test malfunctioning systems using electrical and mechanical skills.
• Maintain clear records of work history and tickets.
• Support by picking up, delivering, and installing cases as needed.
• Engage in minor construction and normalization on new installations.
• Drive company vehicle safely and perform other duties as assigned.
