Job summary

CoolSys is seeking a Service Technician to support the repair and overhaul of refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems. You will work on equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical controls, delivering efficient service to a wide range of customers.

The role requires 2+ years of commercial refrigeration experience, EPA certification, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. A valid driver’s license and on-call availability are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• EPA certification required.
• Trade school/vocational certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul of HVACR equipment to meet customer needs efficiently.
• Repair equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers and control devices.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Test systems using electrical and mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible service records and process job tickets.
• Assist with delivery, installation of cases, and minor construction/startups.
• Operate company vehicle safely and professionally.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
