Job summary

CoolSys is hiring a Senior Service Technician to repair and overhaul refrigeration and HVAC systems for diverse customers across North America. This role requires EPA certification, a minimum of 5 years in commercial refrigeration, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs while working independently.

You will handle service calls, perform preventive maintenance, and support installations and startups of new systems, with on-call rotation and a focus on safe, efficient repair work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA certification required.
• Vocational/technical certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to meet customer needs efficiently.
• Repair and overhauling equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices safely.
• Provide preventive maintenance and diagnose malfunctions in mechanical equipment.
• Test systems and components and document work history clearly.
• Support department by processing job tickets and work orders promptly.
• Assist with picking up, delivering, and installing cases as needed.
• Drive company vehicle safely and perform related duties.
