Job summary

Newmark in Denver, CO is seeking a Senior Appraiser to independently appraise real estate properties for dispute resolution, mortgage underwriting, acquisitions and portfolio analysis. You will prepare complete appraisal reports on complex properties and inspect sites.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree (real estate or economics/finance), a state Certified General Appraiser license, 3-6 years of CRE appraisal experience, strong writing and analytical skills, and proficiency with Argus

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in real estate or related fields; MS/MBA preferred.
Certified General Appraiser License required by the state.
3-6 years of professional experience as a commercial real estate appraiser.

Responsibilities

Prepare complete appraisal reports independently on complex properties, with senior staff oversight.
Conduct complete appraisals of commercial properties to establish market value.
Inspect properties and gather data for reports.
Engage directly in client meetings and present findings.
Complete formal review responses with guidance from senior staff.
Maintain knowledge of appraisal standards and regulations.
