Job summary

Bank of Tennessee is seeking a Commercial Portfolio Manager to support portfolio growth and client relationships across the lending process. You will underwrite, structure, and prepare approvals for commercial loan products, while maintaining knowledge of credit policy, regulations, and asset quality.

You will interact with Relationship Managers, Real Estate Services, and external parties, ensuring excellent client service and adherence to bank standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Five years of qualifying related Commercial Banking experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison among RMs, Real Estate Services, and external parties to support portfolio growth.
• Participate in calls with customers to understand business needs and additions or renewals.
• Underwrite, structure, and prepare approvals for commercial and business loan products.
• Maintain knowledge of lending regulations and bank policies to facilitate underwriting.
• Support continued growth and servicing of loan, deposit, and Cash Management portfolios.
• Monitor loan covenants, collect loan exceptions, and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Order property inspections, monitor construction, and complete draw requests.
• Ensure asset quality and regulatory compliance across portfolios.
• Maintain knowledge of Bank products and services; uphold core values.
• Assist with duties as assigned by management.
