Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Lake Mary, FL is seeking a Commercial Operations Manager to lead development and execution of commercial strategies for large-scale power generation equipment and EPC projects.

You will oversee bid strategy, proposal execution, contract negotiations, and commercial risk management with internal and external partners. The role requires 10+ years of experience, a engineering degree (MBA preferred), and strong negotiation and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred; MBA preferred.
• At least 10+ years in commercial operations, project management, or contract negotiation.
• Experience with large capital projects and EPC environments.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills; executive-level engagement.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs and serve as liaison with EPC clients and partners.
• Develop and execute winning bid strategies across scope, pricing, and service elements.
• Lead cost, risk reviews, and approval processes for proposals.
• Manage CRM systems and maintain accurate reporting of opportunities.
• Coordinate with sales teams to align deal information.
• Negotiate equipment supply and EPC contracts with customers and partners.
• Collaborate with engineering and cost estimating teams to optimize proposals.
• Maintain historical pricing data and support quick proposal development.
• Coordinate commercial strategies with internal teams and senior leadership.
• Engage with customers to understand market needs through meetings and site visits.
• Partner with global teams to align sales and marketing strategies for the Americas.
