Job summary

Securian Financial is seeking a seasoned professional to manage and monitor a large commercial mortgage loan portfolio. You will perform financial analysis, review servicing and compliance matters, and coordinate with internal and external partners to support portfolio performance.

The role involves reviewing property reports, monitoring covenants and maturities, and contributing to portfolio reviews. A hybrid work arrangement is offered, with in-office collaboration as needed.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in commercial real estate lending or loan servicing.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, real estate, business, or related field.
• Ability to interpret and analyze loan documents, financial statements, and property reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance, covenants, maturities, and insurance requirements for commercial loans.
• Perform surveillance and contribute to monthly portfolio reviews.
• Coordinate with legal and other partners on loan-related matters.
• Manage escrow releases, ensure documentation completeness, and verify funds usage.
• Review annual property reports and financial statements; analyze performance.
• Maintain accurate system data including debt-service coverage and loan-to-value ratios.
