Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician in Midland, TX to coordinate and execute the building maintenance program across assigned properties. The role requires strong experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and the ability to supervise maintenance staff when needed.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, coordinating with contractors, managing inventory, and responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of apprentice program or trade school preferred.
• 5+ years of related trade experience in operating mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Supervise maintenance staff when applicable and monitor activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance: changing filters, lubricating motors, replacing lamps and fixtures, and inspecting belts and bearings.
• Coordinate maintenance with outside contractors and maintain stock/inventory control.
• Respond to emergencies and keep management informed with regular reporting.
