Pekin Insurance seeks an Insurance Senior Loss Control Consultant to support profitable growth of its Commercial Lines portfolio. This role provides expert risk evaluation, technical consultation, and cross-functional support across property, general liability, commercial auto, and workers’ compensation.

Based in Chicagoland area, you will travel to policyholders and work from home with regular collaboration with Underwriting, Agents and Insureds to drive account performance and risk improvement.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety, Risk Management, Engineering, Business or related field (preferred).
• Typically requires 5+ years of experience in commercial lines loss control, risk engineering or safety consulting.
• Prior Loss Control experience with Commercial Insurance company or Agency.
• Experience with multi-line commercial exposures, including property, liability, auto, and workers’ compensation.

Mansioni

• Conducts comprehensive loss control evaluations for prospective/existing commercial accounts across multiple lines of business.
• Identifies hazards, evaluates operational exposures, and recommends practical, data-driven solutions.
• Prepares clear, detailed reports outlining risk quality and improvements for underwriting guidelines.
• Provides technical guidance on risk improvement strategies tailored to operations, industry, and safety culture.
• Analyzes loss trends and performs on-site surveys or virtual assessments to support underwriting and retention.
