Pekin Insurance seeks an Insurance Senior Loss Control Consultant to support profitable growth and retention across Property, General Liability, Commercial Auto, and Workers’ Compensation. You’ll partner with Underwriting and Agents to qualify new business, improve account performance, and drive profitability.

This role is based in Chicagoland, IL, requires travel, and offers a hybrid setup with the option to work from home while attending meetings at Pekin, IL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety, Risk Management, Engineering, Business or related field preferred.
• Typically requires 5+ years of experience in commercial lines loss control, risk engineering or safety consulting.
• Prior loss control experience with commercial insurance company or agency.
• Experience with multi-line commercial exposures, including property, liability, auto, and workers' compensation.

Responsabilités

• Conducts comprehensive loss control evaluations for prospective/existing commercial accounts across multiple lines of business.
• Identifies hazards, evaluates exposures, and recommends data-driven solutions to mitigate loss potential.
• Prepares clear reports outlining risk quality and recommendations for underwriting guidelines.
• Provides technical guidance on risk improvement strategies tailored to operations and safety culture.
