Job summary

The Commercial Loan Servicing Team Lead at Busey serves as an expert resource for team members and bankers, providing loan servicing and system operations support for a range of commercial loan products.

You will lead specialty lending programs, oversee SBA 1502 reporting, and ensure accurate book-keeping in the core system, while monitoring post-closing covenants and timely action on exceptions.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Commercial loan operations and report writing experience.
• Knowledge of bank regulations and compliance issues.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for team members, Bankers and Loan Coordinators; demonstrate advanced knowledge of products and regulations.
• Lead specialty lending programs and SBA 1502 reporting and maintenance, Swaps, Participations, and Syndications.
• Book assigned loans on to the core system in accordance with loan documents.
• Document, monitor, and resolve post-closing tasks/covenants and communicate actions needed to servicing team.
• Process system maintenance and monitor reports for syndications, SWAP loans, unused fees and letters of credit.
• Test SOPs for updates and compliance with policies and regulations.
