Job summary

Peoples Security Bank & Trust Company is seeking an experienced professional to support commercial and corporate loan processing. You will coordinate work within the division, handle documentation, and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant closings with customer interaction as needed.

You will assist loan officers, train junior staff, and participate in closings when requested, contributing to a smooth loan lifecycle from approval through post-closing activities.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent; specialized bank credit services education/training.
• Strong communication skills; analytical and mathematics abilities; interpersonal and organizational skills; PC skills incl. Word/Excel; banking services knowledge; loan documentation knowledge; proficient in all loan processing phases including credit/compliance calculations.
• Minimum six years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial and corporate loan functions and coordinate work within the division.
• Follow loans from approval to closing to ensure timely, accurate, compliant processing.
• Research, order, and collect loan documentation for pre-closings and closings.
• Prepare loan documents (commitment letters, amendments, renewals, letters of credit).
• Distribute docs to Loan Processing for timely system entry.
• Follow up and finalize records and attorney documents for loans in process.
• Maintain lien positions and compliant disbursements for complex loans.
• Provide customer support and contact customers to complete loan processing.
• Attend closings if requested; assist Commercial/Corporate Loan Officers; train new specialists.
