Job summary

Southside Bank is seeking a Senior Commercial Loan Processor to close real estate and non-real estate secured commercial loans while ensuring compliance with credit policy and bank regulations. You will coordinate docs, due diligence, and closing activities, acting as the main contact and process driver for a smooth origination-to-closing experience.

Qualifications

Associate degree or four years of related experience and/or training.
Prior commercial loan closing experience and due diligence knowledge.
Familiarity with loan documentation and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Coordinate complex loan closings from term sheet to funding with partners and clients.
Review documents against credit approval and ensure regulatory compliance.
Analyze due diligence: entity docs, UCC searches, appraisals, insurance, liens.
Prepare documents or coordinate with attorneys for closing.
Manage information flow among bank, borrower, and counsel.
Process initial funding upon closing package review.
Set up collateral tracking and file UCCs as required.
Maintain relationships with lenders and clients to ensure service quality.
Lead by example and mentor junior staff; protect confidential information.
Follow bank policies, audits, BSA and information security guidelines.
