Job summary

Texas Regional Bank seeks a Loan Processor to coordinate all documentation for commercial loan transactions from submission to closing, ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines and protecting the bank’s security interest.

You will review packages, request missing documents, perform data entry, liaise with attorneys, audit files, and assist in renewals and releases while maintaining strict regulatory timelines and high accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3–5 years in real estate and commercial processing, preferably at a financial institution.
• Knowledge of loan compliance and regulations.
• Strong analytical skills and decisive decision-making abilities.
• Solid working knowledge of real estate and commercial loan underwriting concepts and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong computer skills with loan platforms; proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro.
• Must be physically present in the bank.

Responsibilities

• Review loan packages for completeness and accuracy.
• Request required documentation and approvals.
• Enter data and ensure accurate loan documentation.
• Maintain close communication with attorneys.
• Resolve issues impacting collectability, lien, or marketability.
• Present complete package to close after review and approval.
• Audit loan packages for proper signatures and disbursements.
• Provide payoffs, loan verifications, and lien releases.
• Comply with federal and state regulations and bank policies.
• Enter and code loans accurately for reporting.
• Assist Commercial Real Estate with renewals and releases.
• Perform additional duties as requested.
