Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Columbus, OH seeks a Loan Origination Specialist to serve as the primary liaison between the Business Relationship Manager and the Credit Coordinator on collateral, entity and due diligence for commercial loans.

You will review approvals, documentation and due diligence to ensure Small Business loans close per approval and to prepare documentation that protects the bank's interests.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience preparing commercial loan, SBA, or mortgage loan documents required.
• Experience with collateral and entity due diligence related to commercial loans is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills and PC skills.
• Able to communicate well and work independently in a high volume, production-oriented environment.
• College degree, paralegal, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Review commercial credit applications for policy adherence and collateral due diligence.
• Review business entity documents, trust agreements, good standing, and UCC searches.
• Coordinate retrieval/review of equipment valuations and other reports.
• Evaluate collateral reports to determine if credit approval terms are met.
• Prepare loan and compliance documentation to protect the bank's interest.
