Job summary

North Brookfield Savings Bank is seeking a Commercial Loan Officer in North Brookfield, MA to solicit and service a broad range of commercial loans. You will interview applicants, review financial information, and contribute to building a strong reputation as the bank’s commercial loan expert while aligning with loan policies.

The role requires at least 5 years in commercial lending and knowledge of loan products, underwriting, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

5 or more years of experience in commercial lending.
Knowledge of loan products, and lending compliance and regulations.
Experience in commercial lending department function and procedures.
Knowledge of commercial loan underwriting requirements.

Responsibilities

Approve or deny loans within established limits, and present loans to the Loan Committee.
Originate a volume of commercial loans that meets the Bank’s goals and objectives.
Perform initial collection efforts on assigned portfolio of loans.
Provide recommendations for portfolio management, loan structuring, and underwriting.
Review and assist in the preparation of Credit Proposals.
Prepare commercial loan documentation in conformity with the loan approval.
Develop relationships with clients to nurture lending and deposit services.
