Job summary

Southside Bank is seeking a Senior Commercial Loan Processor to manage complex commercial loan closings from term sheet to funding. The role requires coordinating with lenders, clients, title companies, attorneys, and vendors to ensure accurate documentation.

The position emphasizes reviewing documents for compliance with bank policies, regulations, and credit approvals, and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the loan lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 4+ years related experience.
• Prior commercial loan closing experience and due-diligence requirements for collateral.
• Knowledge of bank policies, procedures and regulations preferred.
• Finastra LaserPro documentation preparation knowledge preferred.
• Direct customer interface experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate complex commercial loan closings from term sheet to initial funding with internal partners, clients, title companies, attorneys, and vendors.
• Review loan documentation against credit approvals and ensure compliance with bank, federal and state regulations.
• Collect and analyze due diligence: entity docs, UCC searches, flood certs, appraisals, environmental reports, insurance, lien searches, title commitments, surveys.
• Prepare documents internally or engage attorneys as applicable.
• Coordinate information flow among bank, borrower, and attorney firm.
• Process initial funding upon receipt of closing package.
