Job summary

The Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking a mid-senior commercial litigation attorney to join its downtown Chicago team. The role focuses on complex commercial and contract litigation with exposure to insurance coverage disputes and high-stakes matters.

You will represent both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts, manage depositions, and work closely with clients and leadership in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial litigation experience, including taking and defending depositions.
• Strong research and writing skills with attention to complex contract details.
• Collaborative problem-solver who works closely with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial litigation matters, with a niche in insurance coverage and recovery disputes.
• Represent both plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes contract, business tort and insurance disputes in state and federal courts.
• Gain exposure beyond traditional litigation (arbitration, mediation, settlement work).
• Work closely with clients and firm leadership in a collaborative, team-based environment.
